About Quantic Capacitors

Quantic unites four industry leaders—Evans, Paktron, UTC, and Eulex—each with decades of expertise in mission-critical capacitor technology. Together, we form a highly specialized capacitor portfolio focused solely on solving the toughest energy storage and filtering challenges in aerospace, defense, automotive, and industrial applications.

We offer deep knowledge, tailored solutions, and direct access to engineers who know capacitors inside and out. Our brands operate with the speed and flexibility of independent companies, backed by the resources of a larger organization—delivering the best of both worlds.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to accelerate innovation in high-reliability electronics by combining specialized capacitor technologies with responsive engineering and customer-first collaboration. We aim to be the go-to partner for designers who can’t afford compromise—offering both proven products and purpose-built solutions to meet the world’s most demanding electrical environments.

U.S.-Based Expertise with Global Reach

Each of our facilities is strategically located in the United States, providing localized engineering, fast communication, and efficient lead times. Whether it’s Evans’ power dense hybrid wet tantalum technology, Paktron’s rugged multilayer polymer film designs, UTC’s precision ceramics, or Eulex’s innovative high-frequency capacitors—our collective footprint supports customers worldwide with speed, confidence, and technical depth.

Innovation Through Collaboration

While each brand maintains its identity and technical focus, we collaborate closely across the Quantic Capacitors group to deliver fully integrated energy storage and filtering solutions. That means faster development, smarter designs, and fewer compromises.

Our Capacitor Brands

Founded in 1965, Evans Capacitor Company pioneered an innovative hybrid wet tantalum technology to meet the extreme energy density and reliability demands of mission critical applications. Known for pushing the boundaries of capacitor performance, EVANSCAPS  are routinely specified for defense, aerospace, and energy exploration applications where high reliability and SWaP (space, weight, and power) savings are critical design considerations. As a preferred supplier of tier-1 defense contractors, EVANSCAPS are trusted on mission-critical platforms – from satellites and fighter jets to Tomahawk missiles, and more.

When compared to traditional capacitor technologies, EVANSCAPS deliver key enabling solutions for applications including transmit pulse in radar (T/R modules), electric propulsion for space, targeting and range-finding and weapons systems, high power pulse microwave, electromagnetic pulse applications, Peta-watt lasers for fusion energy, LIDAR, amplifier, power hold up/bridge power, electronic warfare, directed energy weapons and systems, oil & gas downhole wireline, drilling, MWD and completion services.

U.S.-based and engineering-led, the company joined Quantic in 2020 to expand its reach while staying focused on innovation. The company operates two manufacturing plants in the Northeast:

Established in 1953, Paktron is one of the oldest and most experienced capacitor manufacturers in the U.S. Paktron designs and manufactures an innovative portfolio of polymer film capacitor products, including miniature radial leaded capacitors, lead-frame capacitors, surface mount chip capacitors, and RC network snubber capacitors. Paktron’s products are used in mission-critical, high-reliability applications across the defense, space, telecommunications, alternate energy, automotive, and industrial industries. Paktron’s core strength lies in fast engineering support, lean manufacturing, fast lead times and the ability to deliver custom solutions at scale.

Founded in 1991, Union Technology Corporation (UTC) has been a trusted supplier of precision multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and high-frequency switch-mode power supply capacitors, with a strong legacy in defense, aerospace, and high-reliability electronics. With decades of experience in application-specific MLCC design, UTC brings deep technical expertise and agile development capabilities.

In support of growing demand, UTC recently expanded its manufacturing facility to 30,000 sq. ft., added a brand-new 2,500 sq. ft. ISO Class 7 (10,000 ppm) cleanroom, and installed state-of-the-art buildup and routing equipment. UTC joined Quantic in 2021, further strengthening the group’s ceramic technology portfolio.

Founded in early 2019, Eulex Components is a pioneer in high-frequency capacitors for advanced broadband and RF applications. The company was established to overcome the performance limitations of traditional Single Layer Capacitors (SLCs) and Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) in high-frequency environments.

Eulex’s breakthrough XG Series gap capacitor delivers a significant advancement in passive component design. By eliminating common sources of parasitic inductance—such as wire bonds and vias—and using a coplanar, embedded electrode architecture, the XG Series achieves exceptionally low ESR and ESL, high capacitance density, and stable performance across extremes of temperature, voltage, and frequency. It operates effectively beyond 67 GHz with consistent behavior under high power and bias conditions.

With a hands-on, engineering-first approach, Eulex joined Quantic in 2022 to further strengthen innovation and collaboration within the capacitor group.
